Touristic options point to diverse spots: agrotourism, one may visit a banana farms, get to know all the production process and shipping of the fruit, and enjoy the green seas that cover Urabá's plains.
The etnotourisim has an important contribution, the cohabitation of different races which are common in America and as well are present in Urabá. Afro-colombians, whites, Indigenous, mulatos, zambos, and mestizo populate this subregion. It is possible to visit the Cuna and Emberá Katío Indians and use the time to buy true art work done by them and at the same time one may get to know a little bit more about their culture.
The Urabá land has various airports. The most used ones are in Apartadó and in Turbo, but one may travel in a very popular way in Antioquia, by land. Starting off from Medellín, cross the Western Tunnel, travel by Santa Fé de Antioquia and you arrive to Mutatá, Uraba's door and home of the two Indigenoaus reservoir of the Emberá Katío.
